Ryan is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Crossroads Capital, LLC. Before founding Crossroads, he was an analyst at several value-centric investment partnerships.
Ryan’s primary responsibilities include asymmetric idea generation, with a specific focus on undiscovered emerging franchises and catalyst-driven special situations, as well as investment strategy and portfolio construction. Before life as a securities analyst, Ryan attended Indiana University (Bloomington), worked as a financial advisor for AG Edwards & Sons (now Wells Fargo), and was an options trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Ryan's proven track record of generating compelling risk-adjusted returns has lead to recognition in various publications and associations, including membership in Joel Greenblatt's Value Investors Club and MOI Global, two of the world's most exclusive communities of professional buy-side investors. Mr. O’Connor’s research has been featured in numerous publications, including Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.
Prior to joining Crossroads, Daniel was a Senior Analyst at Brasada Capital Management, where he was a Top 5 Finalist at the Sohn Conference’s Idea Contest in 2021 and a Value Investors Club Idea Contest Winner. He also regularly presents at MOI Global’s Wide Moat Investing Conference.
Earlier in his career, Daniel was an M&A and Strategy Associate for an offshore drilling company, responsible for deal execution on over $10 billion in M&A transactions, and a publishing Equity Research Analyst at a start-up research firm covering the E&P sector.
Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas, where he won an international award for jet engine design, and a Master of Science in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Daniel is also a CFA charterholder and an Eagle Scout, and is a co-author on a geological research paper published by the Society of Sedimentary Geology.
Cole joined Crossroads Capital as CEO/Managing Partner in early 2023. Most recently, he was Co-Founder of Bloom Health Partners, which provided testing and occupational health services to numerous Fortune 100 companies. After scaling the business over 18 months, it was sold to a publicly traded healthcare technology company in 2021.
Prior to Bloom Health, Cole was focused on his own holding company, CPL Investments, where he has been deeply involved in portfolio company operations and acquisitions. He began his career at TPG Capital (fka Texas Pacific Group), coordinating and managing internal and external financial reporting duties and portfolio company valuations before going to Jones Trading where he was an Institutional Equity Trader.
Cole served as a US Delegate to the G-20 Entrepreneurial Summits in Toronto and Mexico City and serves on the Dallas Alumni Board of Directors at Texas Christian University. Previously, he spent six years as a Host Committee Member for the Great Investors’ Best Ideas Foundation (GIBI, a nonprofit organization that benefits The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and the Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation.) He graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Cole lives in Dallas with his wife Christina and son Logan.
Justin is Chief Operating Officer at Crossroads Capital. Prior to joining Crossroads, he worked at Kansas City-based Kornitzer Capital Management, where he was an analyst for the Buffalo International Fund (BUFIX), a mutual fund with over $250 million under management. Justin also worked in Tokyo as an equity research analyst for Japaninvest and Haitong International Securities.
Earlier in his career, Justin worked in mergers and acquisitions, first as an attorney at Skadden Arps, and then as an investment banking analyst at the former Wasserstein Perella, both in New York.
Justin received his bachelor's degree in Economics and East Asian Studies magna cum laude from Yale University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Harvard Law School.
